While the entire nation was still mourning the death of 40 CRPF soldiers in Pulwama district, the Indian Air Force strikes Pakistan. On 26th February 2019 early morning, the Indian Air Force strikes the largest training camp of the ill-famed terrorist group Jaish-e-Mohammad. Many terrorists and trainers have lost their lives and it is a welcoming news for India.
The terrorist launch pads in Muzaffarabad, Balakot and Chakothi had been destroyed in the attack by the Indian Army. It has been reported that 12 fighter jets have dropped around 1000 kg bombs in these three regions.
The entire nation was seeking for revenge and the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had assured that the terrorist attack in Pulwama will be avenged. The chief of the ill-famed terrorist group had confirmed that the strikes had taken place at the camps at Balakot but he mentioned that his family members and cadres are safe.
The spokesperson of Pakistan Army, Major General Asif Ghafoor has stated that the attack had been repelled and the jets were forced to drop off their load. He also stated that India should be prepared for a surprise attack from Pakistan. The attack might be political, diplomatic or military in nature.
The entire nation erupted in celebrations after this news. The social media platforms were flooded with messages, memes and posts celebrating this incident. The people of the nation are quite happy to see that the death of the brave soldiers has been avenged. This is the nation’s second victory as three terrorists had lost their lives in an encounter which took place in Jammu and Kashmir, a few days back. The mastermind behind the heart-breaking terrorist attack in Pulwama had also lost his life in the encounter. Even though the Pulwama attack will always remain as a scar for India, yet these recent events have pacified the people of the nation.
The country needs to stay alert as Pakistan might launch another attack on the nation. We sincerely hope that these attacks and counter attacks stop, and peace is restored at the earliest.
